Just a thought re new signings

Central defender, left back and hopefully a goalkeeper. Anybody else we sign will likely be starting on the bench (assuming there are no departures)

These 3, and..

We really need a striker and an attacking midfielder as well.

So Zamora, and Noone / Orlandi back, and we can hope Dickenson fills the 4th striker role, and Maximenko the 4th Central Defender place.

Callum Wilson of Coventry fits the bill. Young upcoming striker who can start as a squad player.

Goodness me. Why the fixation with managers picking players to sign? That is where madness lies. If you get a new manager you sell the players at a cut price the other manager liked and he brings in more from his old club which will be overpriced.

If you have a good backroom in place then you can set an ethos for the club and then hire a manager to fit in with that. This seems to be what we do.
