My daughter has been one for the past three years and have renewed this year but still not received new membership card etc. yet

Has anyone else had their son/daughters, the money was taken from my card last month.

Just thought I would ask before I phoned the clubshop

Well I rang the shop on Friday and surprise surprise nothing has been sent out yet, in the next week or so i was told.

Quick enough to take my money in July, and yet again my daughter will probably miss out on all of the goodies as we don't get chance to visit the shop very often to collect them.

Nice to see the club can't be bothered to encourage the younger supporters  I can understand the shirts being under ordered but surely the Junior Seagulls should get there stuff before the season starts.

Don't generally post on this board but this is something that really winds me up. My sons are 12 and 15 (birthday yesterday and as usual no Seagulls club card on his birthday), so I've had several years of inefficiency from this so called club for juniors.

This year the membership forms stated that membership ran from the 1st July, guess what, the membership forms did not arrive until the 11th July!! No pack has arrived yet. Every year my son who's birthday it was yesterday receives his card in about mid September.

One of the alleged advantages of being a Seagulls Club member is a discount in the club shop, so being dutiful parents we attempt to buy a birthday present for our son. But of course we get no discount as the membersip pack has not arrived.

I could almost put up with this when the club was run on a voluntary basis, but now the person in charge is a full time employee so I believe that there is no excuse. This is one part of the club that is still unfortunately being run in an extremely amateur way, and believe me, according to sources within the club, it's not the only thing run this way.

Rant Over...

My lad is still waiting - he's an August birthday as well and last season got selected to be a ball boy at QPR at home.

Running out of time I think to be a ball boy this season :(

I also get fed up with having to wait for the pack each year, then only getting half of it and having to collect the rest later.

A couple of years ago, my daughter got a T-shirt that fitted me!!! She was 7 at the time, and I take an XL. She wears it as a nightdress.

While I agree that the organisation is not great...

The people in the shop have ALWAYS taken our word for it that our kids are Junior Seagulls - they have never denied us the discount, even if the packs etc... haven't been distributed yet.

Just ask - it's not difficult.

And my kids look forward to the Christmas parties from about now!
