I didn't see the game, could he have been reading at the players for not giving a shit? Maybe he was doing Tuchel's job and he didn't like it. As I say, I didn't see the game but couldn't have been good...
Relax. It was fine.
He'll be playing for England long after Tootle has collected his P45.

I'm not really bothered about the tabloid tittle-tattle about the off-field antics of Grealish back in the day. But Bellingham's transgressions happen in full view of everyone, in front of the cameras, on the pitch.

I'm all for seeing a bit of "pashun", but I wouldn't be overly thrilled at seeing a BHA player regularly picking up cards for dissent due to being in the officials faces, mocking the opposition bench, and booting water bottles around on his way off the field.

He appears to have morphed into a billy-big-bollocks at Madrid. Which is a pity.
Each to their own. Not saying that he doesn’t need to watch it with those card happy FIFA referees, but give me someone like Jude who cares and is clearly very talented over a high % of the rest of the squad. At the moment, he is one of the few forward thinking players we have at that level, Anthony Gordon is definitely another who should get more game time.

I was at the game on Saturday against Andorra. There were very few sparks in that England team, but when Jude comes on you just know something more positive is going to happen. I’ll take that and a bit of dissent any day. You’ve decided not to like him, fair enough, it’s all about opinions.

Yeah, player power has worked so well for England
You have foxed me there.
I was not implying that Bellingham would get Tootle sacked.
My point was simply that Bellingham is young whereas Tootle has a short contract

Used to come across as a decent person when at Dortmund.

Must be something about cnts at Franco’s club …. Marcelo, Pepe and Mourinho turned to eye gouging his Barca opponent when with them. This season the club have brazenly called Spain’s officials cheats against them, wtf, they had refs in their pocket forever.

Yeah, I think it would really help in this discussion to have knowledge of his conduct in a Real Madrid shirt over the last few seasons. Type in Bellingham red card/Bellingham angry into YouTube. He’s crossed over from playing “on the edge” to being a bit of a nasty piece of work. He was facing a potential 12 match ban for dissent earlier this season.

Yep. Always liked Grealish, once I delved into him a bit.
The absolute ease that some people buy into a negative trope,
then embellish it a bit and before you known it the person is a ******,
is f***ing staggering.
I don’t read most of the nonsense in the tabloids about players and I don’t have anything against Grealish in general except for this

I have heard of accused in courts of law ‘facing‘ life sentences, but walking out with far less or nothing. ‘He was facing’ is a bit of a tabloid headline, the actual outcome was nothing like that.

Once you take against someone, I guess the glass is always going to be half empty. You won’t be alone in going down that route.

Bellingham, Gordon, and Madueke all excellent
Palmer when on full mojo certainly, and possibly Eze are also there abouts.

But I'm not sure Tootle will be able to lead them.

I have actually seen him play live for Birmingham, Dortmund, Real Madrid and many times for England. He’s always had a bit of a grumpy, competitive streak but then I still maintain that to be where he is at his age and, in the opinion of many, not be world class then it’s going to take something else to drive you forwards. It can overspill and he definitely needs to watch it, plenty are just waiting to vilify him like Beckham 98.

I haven’t got a strong opinion on JB, in fact a couple of years ago I felt he had it all (including the looks and smile which would help sell him commercially), a future Ballon D’Or winner. I’m surprised at the decline in his international game …. not just under Tuchel, but similar could be said for Foden and Palmer.

He behaves like a prick. Grabbing his crotch at the Slovakia bench after his overhead kick equaliser (EQUALISER) against them. Consistent gobbing off at referees, receiving yellows AND a red card for dissent last season, then last night pursuing a 4th official after the final whistle and booting a water cooler in the air (which he also did after the Euros final), having to be hauled away by Kane.

Good player. But also a catastrophic dickhead. RM has gone to his head.
De Zerbi did all of those things and the majority on here loved him for it?

I’m not too worried about his aggressiveness on the pitch, he clearly passionately wants to win always and he has a desire that we could do with more England players having. I do think some of the Real Madrid dickheadness has rubbed off on him but it would if you’re surrounded by that madness and paranoia all the time. I will say though that at Dortmund there were also reports of players being unhappy with his behaviour.

My biggest concern with Bellingham is I think he’s going a bit backwards as a player. I don’t know if it’s that he hasn’t found a settled position for Real and England or the shoulder injury that he is going to have surgery on but his levels have definitely dropped over the last year.

Very fair on all points

And the fact that he always did a number on us. Hate him if he plays against you, love him if it’s for you.

Such a shame. He’s a wonderful player and he has that knack of popping up in the right place to score important goals, but the move to Real has turned him into someone whose antics go beyond the ‘you’d be fine with it if he was your club’ behaviour.

He’s too good a footballer to be acting like he does.

Disappointing all round IMO.
