JPG to Gif

For that GIFworks site. Any idea how to do it? Can't I just whack it on my PC and then "Save As" a GIF somewhere?

Save your file as a gif, then upload to the internet
i reccomend saving before you create your avatar, then save with your avatar, otherwise you will get really messed up colours
