He does not seem to stay anywhere for long periods so could be one with problems outside the game. I think he played against us a Turf Moor last season but if he did I did not notice him make any outstanding contribution.

No thanks, trouble seems to follow him around.

do you rate him as a player tho?

abililty wise he has got to be worth taking a risk on in my view, hes a top player at this level and im suprised someone hasn't snapped him up yet.

I heard he started well at Everton, but whenever we came across him (grimsby, Sunderland and Burnley) he looked like he could not be arsed.

can't really judge a player on a handful of apperances i remember him being a big success at grimsby and in spells at sunderland, his ability on the ball would prove a great asset if we were to take a chance on him, dribbling with the ball and running at players is something we lack and oster is fully capable of this. i'd love too see us take a chance on him as i think he has alot to offer.

Well one bloke who should be able to motivate a player and get their attitude right is McGhee.

He creates the trouble. Getting his willy out at the christmas party and shoving it in another players wife face is never going to go down well. All that just a week after being arrested for something else. Good player but his off the pitch antics cancel out any good he might do on the pitch.

He has the ability but given his attitude problem, I don’t think he would be worth the risk.

Cotterill wanted him at Burnley, the fans wanted him at Burnley,

he didn't want to play in the Championship..............

and look at the managers that have offloaded him - they never doubt his ability just his attitude and committment.

If he was going to be any good, he'd have done it by now. Had his chance in the Prem and did very little, and has pretty much sunk without a trace since then at a lower level.

The cockjuggling incident sounds fantastic, but on its own its not enough for me to want to see him pulling on the stripes.
