he should be a target for Arsenal along with scott parker. better than the crap they have now. rosicky, denilson, diaby etc. and would add a bit of power to their midfield.

Likely to end up with a promoted club or somebody who's desperate. I would imagine his salary would be higher than most Championship sides would be prepared to offer and with his dubious temperament he'd be a big risk to anybody who signed him. You have to ask the question, if he's any good why are Newcastle looking to offload him.
Given anger management classes (he could share petrol with Greer) and a large cut in salary the why not but we know that neither will happen.

I'm in the 'no' camp. While he would no doubt add hugely to our midfield, I'm not a win at all costs person, and think he has done enough to justify him being kicked out of football altogether.
