"They had one corner and scored from it and we had plenty of corners and crosses and we missed a bag full. But that's football.

"Our goalkeeper could have sat in the stands for most of the night."

i didnt go to the game but im sure i heard that cullip almost scored from a header from a corner, and that we almost scored a couple of others, and i see they had as many shots on target as us, and im sure our keeper could have sat in stands for the first half kinnear u c*nt!

no one ever praises us! cant admit it can they?!

who cares? I know I couldn't give less of a f*** what Joe Kinnear thinks.

We won when apparently they had most of the possession and chances. Makes the victory even sweeter.

The Forest fan on 606 was a twat too. He must have been Mourinho in disguise because he said we came for a nil-nil and had ten men behind the ball. We out-played them in the first half and deserved our lead which should have been two (Cullip missing a sitter almost identical to Virgo's goal).

The second half we had to sit back because they threw everything at us but we got it forward when we could and looked pretty good for it. If their keeper sat in the stands they would have lost by 3 or 4. :tosser:

If you get promoted up to this division, everyone expects to beat you if they've got loads of fans.

Its a strange hypothesis, and not one that the likes of Wigan give two hoots about. Yorath @ Sheff Wed (when we got promoted with yourselves a couple of years back) said after losing 2-1 to Reading on the 2nd game of the season "we really should be beating teams like Reading to maintain our playoff push". Result: Sheff Wed relegated, Yorath sacked, Reading 4th.

Its all crap and managers don't do themselves any good by talking down the opposition after the game.

KInnear wants to check his facts. We had (and this is from the Argus): Four shots on target to their three. Five shots off target to their eight. That means 9 shots to us 13 to them, not exactly a 'battering'. Also six corners each, I'[ll reming Joe now that we SCORED from one of those. Also we got 21 free kicks to their 12, so it's not as if we came to kick them off the park as some Forest fans suggested.

Also the ones on 606 were as bitter as lemons. All this sticking 11 behind the ball and then th guy saying it was us that slagged Andy Reid off. Well, actually, no it was one of your own fans.

The reality of last night is that we could have been two or three up by half time but weren't and Forest came at us second half and we kept them at arm's length with Kuipers doing what he is paid very handsomly to do on a couple of occasions late on.

Think Leicester with a few more shots for eeach side and you're pretty much there.

It seems any 'big' club thinks they have a right to roll teams like us over. Just you boys wait until we get Falmer....

what a twat! heard we should have been a few goals up after the first half!

remember the fuss caused when we beat derby 1-0 last time we were in the first division! there fans were almost ready to top themselves. Sooner or later, Joe Kinnear, Andy King and all the f*** faces out there will realise we are a good team! :salute:

Kinnears moan can't take our 3 points away. Everyone is under pressure to beat the teams that have just come up, we are expected to roll over and die in aw of the 'bigger' teams in this division in many peoples eyes. Kinnear is on thin ice and I'm surprised with all his experience the best he can do is complain about us, if anything he should be pointing the finger at his strike force.

The each half was dominated by one team. Us in the 1st, them in the 2nd.

The trouble with the 'bigger' clubs in this division is they think they're still in the Premiership and only have to turn up against the promoted sides to egt the three points. They need to wake up and realise that "YOU'RE NOT A BIG CLUB ANY MORE...."
