So where is Joao off to.?...............It aint gonna be here.
You must have been living under a ROCK to not know whats been announced about this so far but here's a summary:And from that incident some have decided he’s dickhead who needs kicked out the club![]()
That's funny. I mentioned it and my cat gave a knowing look.So does my cat.
At a big club, with European football and 100 grand per week, yes.Agree with that statement, however, will Pedro's attitude allow him to be a squad player.?
I mean 2 out of 3 isn't bad.At a big club, with European football and 100 grand per week, yes.
maybe, but you have missed some bits. The club announced pre Liverpool that he was missing for 'personal reasons' and it was confirmed to a few people on here off the record, like Bozza, that these were genuine 'personal reasons'. Also that prior to his recent aggressive behaviour he was an incredibly hard-working team player who was deemed suitable to captain us.You must have been living under a ROCK to not know whats been announced about this so far but here's a summary:
I mean i'm not sure how you can't conclude that he's been a bit of dickhead from this and suggested that he either shape up or ship out.
- Recently flouncy/aggressive FWD JP [see actual v near red cards in games] was believed to be the aggressor in a training ground incident involving JPVH
- Various rumours circulated that senior pros Dunk and Webster told JP to jog on and grow up
- FH announced in the pre match presser that JP was unavailable
- FH then forced to announce in the Wolves pre match presser that JP remainined unavailable due to an incident typical at many clubs but that it was dealt with. FH mentioned he has certain behavioural standards (not being a dick) that JP failed to meet (by being a dick) and has therefore been removed from the squad to reflect on his future behaviour.
I mean 2 out of 3 isn't bad.
I thought Tottenham would wave a wad - but any of the three London clubs makes sense. If you're in Europe, it's hard to turn down his penalty-merchantry.At a big club, with European football and 100 grand per week, yes.
I've heard about a £250m warchest. The obvious one for me is Newcastle, they need strength in depth and don’t have a player like him. Champions league will be a big draw for them.
Very interesting.maybe, but you have missed some bits. The club announced pre Liverpool that he was missing for 'personal reasons' and it was confirmed to a few people on here off the record, like Bozza, that these were genuine 'personal reasons'. Also that prior to his recent aggressive behaviour he was an incredibly hard-working team player who was deemed suitable to captain us.
The evidence does fit the theory that he is being a dickhead, but I think it also fits the theory that he's having mental health issues perhaps related to something in his private life, that he's been acting emotionally as a result and is now being given time away from work to try and sort it out.
and of course, if my theory is right, we're unlikely to ever find out
I’m sure Chelsea will be able to out trump them.I've heard about a £250m warchest.
They were hours from signing him before, he is very well regarded up in those parts.
I'm hoping that there is just enough interest from other clubs to make sure they pay a big whack as we seem to want to spend at least half of his fee on the young Greek.
There wasnt a lap.I didn't stick around for the lap after Liverpool, but was Joao Pedro there?
Agree. Pedro has been great for us, sad it seems to be ending this way but it does look like a deal would suit both parties so I expect the club to helpful in facilitating this move (for the right price).People are being VERY harsh on Pedro without knowing the facts at all. Who knows what's going on in his personal life right now, who knows how the conversation with FH went? No one knows anything. I hope, if he does go, he gets the recognition he deserves. Despite what some people seem to think, he has never downed tools and has worked as hard as anyone on the pitch. Is he a petulant Brazilian? Yes. Does he work his socks off for the team. Also, yes.
I genuinely think the Captain choice was a big whoopsy moment in this season - he had shown enough aggression [good for his game] but less so for captaincy IMO.maybe, but you have missed some bits. The club announced pre Liverpool that he was missing for 'personal reasons' and it was confirmed to a few people on here off the record, like Bozza, that these were genuine 'personal reasons'. Dont think anything like that was mentioned. As far as I know it was just the £30m paid, no mention of sell on clauses.Anyone recall any reports of a sell on to Watford or whether we paid a release clause ourselves, negating this?
