OFF. Big hole unless we have a replacement. Poor attitude tho. Not expecting mich of a goodbye letter. Also wasn’t at the awards, either with us or without us, so, he’s GONE.
Is it? Take Rutter over him every day of the week. Other than penalties, his all round game really isn’t that great. Not for the money we’ll get for him anyway.

Yeah, he’s gone. Annoying as he’s one of the few players we have that has those ‘game winning’ traits and the ability to come up with those massive moments (equalisers vs Arsenal, City, that goal vs Marseille, all those penalties), and I don’t know if that goes hand in hand with his ego but you always got the sense that he was only here as a means to an end, and he was thinking about his next move the second he got here.

Bloke who has been on the sulk 2025, posted a photo of him on holiday after us getting smashed by our biggest rivals, who has an agent linking him with every big club, who sacked off our end of season collapse with a petty red card, not in the squad for "personal reasons" lol.

Good player, massive ego, bit of a prick. Hope Tony makes a stash of cash on him

Honestly think you're underselling him a lot. He's one of the few players we have with serious quality to unlock packed defences. And half the penalties he scores, he wins himself.

It's the petulance, diving and ill discipline that are the issue for me, there's no questioning his talent.

And I don't have any issue if he wants to test himself at a bigger club. As far as we know he's not thrown a Sanchez/Trossard/Cucurella style tantrum.

Having said that, having Rutter to take his spot doesn't half soften the blow.

I don't mean to be too dismissive here, but that will be the case with almost all of our signings. There's no kid growing up in South America dreaming of playing for Brighton.

He's petulant on the pitch, but I don't think he's shown the club or fans any disrespect.

We got the Greek lad, I don't think he's come to sit on the bench. Mazilu and Ibrahim also back from their loans. Get 50m+ for JP and I'll be happy
If we’re expecting them to replace someone who has been, for nearly two years, one of our main attacking threats, were in for a long season.

If people come back with their heads switched on i really do think we have cover for leaving players. Hopefully they can knuckle down and get their heads together and find a place in the team. Massively missed a proper goalscorer this season. Pedro roams around all over the place and holds the ball, tries to do things on his own. Sometimes we just need someone in the danger zone.

If Pedro does go though, we'll need someone to replace his geeing up of the crowd when we win a throw in.
Apologies, literally the forgotten man. I so want him to do well though
