If being really really critical, how many goals has he scored from open play this season? Still think he's missed too many. And it was frustrating that he seemed to convert about 4 one on ones into going back to the player behind him tonight.

Big potential still. No ready for a massive club yet.

Hard as it is I actually agree lol. If he is half as composed in open play as he is from the spot he will be scoring 20 plus PL goals a season. Still very young and his all round game for a player just turned 22 is exceptional

Only Milner's excellence stopped.him.being MOM.

If we had ground out a 2-1 draw without him scoring he would have been there or thereabouts. Defends well from set pieces, make good decisions when attacking.

Class.

Quick and very strong. Listened to his interview and he appears so humble too. Contracted to us until June 28 which should stop Chelsea paying ridiculous money before doing their best to ruin another career 😀
I reckon his exchange with the Chelsea bench was with his Brazilian understudy Richarlison.

Yes - couple of times in the second half where he was ahead of the defender, and couldn't take it forwards. Wasn't too sure if it was deliberate - or just didn't have the pace?

A genuine contender for Lawrenson’s Albion GOAT title, come the next World Cup Finals in 2026 he will be the Brazil Number 9, whether or not he will still be our No 9 is up for debate?

The lad has Ice in his veins when it comes to penalties. Never looks the slightest bit windy whilst waiting to take the kick.

Definitely improving as a player. Was never going to be the finished article this year but the trajectory looks promising and playing/training with Welbeck will help.

To be fair he wasn't exactly against slouches at the back. Was running against Emerson Royal or Udogie who are both fairly rapid, Udogie especially.

Great performance and does he love a penalty ! Loving the way he stood on the spot waiting for VAR for 1st pen !
Everyone knew - almost every one of our players went up huge for it. Reminded me of an edge caught behind appeal where the slip cordon are up in unison celebrating and the umpire doesn’t give it.

He had a great view and it was a clear cut penalty. No idea how Gillett missed it to be honest.
