Watching that clip of the '83 cup run was great.
We definitely got the rub of the green from the refs back then.
Also, the quality of the pitches, shows how things have improved in the groundsmanship department - even the hallowed turf of Wembley looked like a quagmire down the middle.

Decked out in all white dancing the night away in Busby's lol Call him what you like he took us to the FA Cup final, and our dream was thwarted by Baileys left leg.
BTW, I picked up Fozzie Owen Hand and Smith in my taxi a few years ago and I asked him the obvious question, to which he replied
"NO, by trapping the ball I had actually dummied Bailey who expected a first time shot, and I hit it low, unfortunately it hit Baileys leg and McQueen cleared the loose ball.
That is how close we came to glory.
