I was a little more miffed that footage of him cutting people's heads off was released, if I'm honest.

I don't understand why various media platforms are allowed to facilitate that myself. Surely the distribution of such videos that show murders should be illegal.

Could it hopefully be that his name has been revealed cos he has been killed. I read sometime ago about the father of an Iraqi girl who was raped had to carry out the rapists death sentence he chose drowning so he was bound put in a sack and laid in a JCB bucket the father then tipped him over the side of a pit filled with water to drown him. That sounds an appropriate death for Jihadi John if he is not dead.
