Hellooooooooo

I did. Well taken goal and he had a good game, fair play. There was a big difference in his game having dropped of Owen and he was passing well. Fair play to the boy and I hope he can improve.

There you go, humble pie eaten for now.

(Love it when people start threads calling out people who have given opinions and been porved incorrexct after ONE good game).

Defoe looked hungry and wanted to play. Good luck to him, and I hope he makes it it own place with Rooney next to him and Owen learns to fight for hi place.

I was watching the game at a mates. Both of us, after twenty mins would have subbed Beckham and brought on Wright-Phillips, providing he was on the bench.

Sorry but we turned on a minuite late, and missed the line up and subs.

I've been saying Defoe has been BRILLIANT for a while now, since before West Ham got relegated. He might be an arsehole but he's got pace and skill in ABUNDANCE and knows where the back of the net is. I definitely think he's good enough to be ahead of Vassell and Smith in the pecking order.

As for the goalie, I think it's time for James to retire now and us to have Robinson at number one with Robert Green as back-up.
