Straying slightly, I did like the still scary-looking Gordon McQueen's comment last night about what he thought was a boring game for the neutral at Boro. He was dreading the onset of extra time when he said "I was really hoping that they might settle this by Golden Throw In..."

I was watching McQueen last night. You could hear our fans when he did his report. I was slightly miffed with McQueen in the first half as it was patently obvious he didn't know who our players were! He only mentioned Knight once, and he's not exactly difficult to spot!

He spent most of his time droning on about the 'Boro players (admittedly how poor they were).

He made amends in the second half by saying how well our defence was playing.

Stelling is the business. Would like to have a drink with him just for his footballing knowledge.....

Said on Saturdays Soccer special that he went out for a meal with our very own Dick Knight a few days previous. I can only assume that he was paying?
