Well, his home has a "Sold" sign outside and when I cycled past the other day, you could see the whole place was packed up and ready to move. The man seems to be a big fan of hanging artistic paintings on the walls, he's got loads of huge framed pictures in there. The house itself is worthy of a Prince.

For the record, I have absolutely no interest at all in the homes of our players. I was walking past in the summer and happened to see him out in his garden and a few times since when I've been past.

He moved to elsewhere in Hove a few months ago. (I follow a lot of Albion players on Instagram and only a part-time stalker.)

As opposed to what other kinds of painting?

I wouldn't call this artistic, for an example! It was all stuff you'd expect to see hanging in a gallery, top end arty stuff that the likes of me look at and think, meh.

I'd like to have the sort of cash required to gather such a collection.

Is that from Monet's 'Big Bicycle' period or Caravaggio's series entitled 'Red Bike with Campagnolo Groupset'?

It's always so hard to tell them apart.

I certainly didn't imagine it would turn into a Brian Sewell lecture.
