Anyone know the dates of the Japanese football season? I'm going to Japan next month and fancy catching a little bit of soccer.

And who should I support? They HAVE to be flair!

Also, any stuff I definitely shouldn't miss out on whilst I'm over there? I'm travelling for 3 weeks and have a fair idea of what I want to do, but, NSC sages, you normally have a few good suggestions.

Sounds great. I went to Japan last summer with a mate for two and a half weeks, and it was absolutely fantastic. I'd never been to Asia before but absolutely loved the food, culture and almost everything about it.

Where abouts are you staying? Or are you travelling around? When I went I was based with a Japanese family that we know in Tokyo, and we also travelled to Kyoto, Nara and Hiroshima.

Some of the highlights for me were watching live baseball (Yokohama Giants) although I'm not sure when the season starts/finishes, the onsen (natural spring public baths), and the War Memorial and museums in Hiroshima. There were other highlights but too many to list!
