I'm loving his Fabric mix-CD. He's got a really nice style. Anyone know anything about this character? Anyone seen him play?

Seen him quite a fewq times in london. A bit hit or miss but usually the former. Plays mainly tech house and now in a band called art department I believe who are okish.
He's not part of Art Department (who played Audio a couple of months back).
He also played for my mates night the other week at Audio and apparently tore it down, I saw him countdown to midnight last NYE and he destroyed it. Love his deeper sets.
A couple of sets to be going on with are:

Jamie Jones is shit hot, saw him in DC10 in Ibiza this year and at Space and at Parklife festival in Manchester where he was playing in the Crosstown Rebels tent. Will be seeing him again in December at Warehouse Project. Comes across in interviews as a really nice genuine bloke. He is not part of Art Department but runs his own label called Hot Natured which releases quite cool but a bit retro-ish techno which seems to be big on the underground scene at the moment. If you like him then check out Seth Troxler, Lee Foss and Maceo Plex who have similar styles. This is another of his big tunes:
Indeed, butchy. All that Crosstown Rebels stuff is really interesting, really liking Maceo Plex.
The house scene is going bananas this year and I can't get enough. Really into Geddes at the moment, some of his sets are almost too deep. Saw him at Secret Garden Party whilst the sun came up, proper VIBES.
I'll use this thread to plug my mates night who put Jamie Jones on, they are putting on freebies at Riki Tiks (including one tomorrow night). Here's a free podcast: schtumm! podcast 001 by schtumm! on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free
yeah the crosstown thing is amazing and is refreshing to hear as it gets away from the whole minimal thing. saying that though i still go for Hawtins Minus stuff and i love what loco dice and buttrich are doing with desolat- those are some of the best nights i have ever been to. loco dice at cocoon amnesia a month ago was the most incredible set of rolling techno ive ever heard. tanzmann and davide squillace i also saw in dc10 this year and ripped it apart- very deep tech house, and the visionquest lads with troxler also have a firm grip on things. havent caught geddes yet but will be this year at warehouse project.
your mates doing a good job as have seen a lot of good nights on down here for a change- havent been able to make any though cos been away for most of the summer. do you know who his next booking is?

Luciano is worth a mention as well.
Officially the most overated dj in dance music history. The new Paul Oakenfold in fact.
