TBH as good as Wilson can be, he's hardly been integral to this seasons success.
With as many as 5 wingers available very soon, CH will be able to free up Murphy for 'nippy striker' role without compromising the supply line.

Replacement? No. Striker who knows how to score? Yes.

If i was CH i wouldn't trust this situation .The management at United could change at any minute.Therefore if we can get GM on loan at least we are are covered for the most important 3 months to come......

Agreed, and I am sure this would be their view too. We would be daft not to have another player lined up.

But the squad will end up with 3 Hemed's and 1 Baldock.

Granted with decent wing play that might not be an issue, but there's not a lot of balance either.
It's almost impossible to work out the projection as it's basically:-

damned if you do, damned if you don't - who's going to last the season?


Knowing how to score and actually scoring are very different.
GM, like almost every other striker, has had as many barren periods as goal gluts.
