ThisNo playing contract please. His salary is exhorbitant by all reports and I'd rather we used the money on players who can play.
I've no problem giving him a coaching contract on normal coaches salary if the club think he's the right bloke
I don't know, I'm not part of the BHAFC coaching setup, so I have no knowledge at all of his state of health/fitness. THAT'S my point. They know the score, we can only guess, speculate and assume.I just think, he's 39. He was creaking pretty badly last season. He's just had a year off injured to add onto the 600 games he's played.
How much more do we really think we can squeeze out of him
Of course it should. But how often do you hear players that aren't fit/playing get publicly mentioned for praise by teammates or their manager for still making a specific contribution to the first team in their absence?Should that not be a bare minimum requirement if you're on a professional football contract? Especially if you're on a very good one and likely hope to get another role in the organisation in due course
Van Dyke, Salah, Dalgleish, Keegan - take your pick.Is there another knackered old Liverpool player we might sign and release Milner like we did Lallana this season?
I’m sure the snood and glove loving Albion players will be keen to see the back of Milner![]()
That’s so 2013
Saw that and thought of Benjamin Button.
