He won't. If ever we are to improve, we need to bring in players who are BETTER than the ones we've got.

and that has worked this season? we have a good squad and look where we are!
however last year the likes of robinson played and look where we finished?!?
it is the management not the player.
for example diarra (now at real madrid) didn't do anything for arsenal or chelsea went to portsmouth had a great manager who took him under his wing and now hes one of the best defensive midfielders in the world!!!!!
yeh he had talent but other managers didnt give him the time or confidence i feel this is the same for robinson he performed for dean wilkins.

however good luck to him

Well hawkins has scored the goal of the season so far to be fair! the fact it was in the wrong net is neither here nor there :)

Slade will be given the lowdown on Jakey , I fully expect him to pass judgement if it is worth recalling him.

He'll never make it here, he's proved that under many different managers, he's just not got the bottle for it, hopefully Aldershot will give us some money for him in the summer.

I don't understand where you got the idea that he succeeded under Wilkins. He had a really good spell for two months but last season had occasional starts and more often flattered to deceive coming off the bench.

They love him at Aldershot-let him stay there to play first team games and gain some confidence. As previously said Russell Slade can keep an eye on his progress and then make a decision at the end of the season to either keep him or let him further his career in pastures new. To bring him back now would be no benefit to him or the club.

I heard aldershot put a clause in the contract to say he couldn't be recalled - even after 28days, and we agreed to that. If that's the case - he's there till end of the season

Surely he went on loan as we couldn't sell him after the deadline. He should stay there till the summer when his contract ends and he can sign full time for them. Alternatively, perhaps he should try his hand in the US, I hear theres a temporary vacancy at LA Galaxy!

i didnt say he succeeded... i said he performed well under dean wilkins (meaning he did better than for any other manager) and that was because of deans management.
i understand that most of the time he doesnt even perform any where near his standard but on his day hes one of our most skillful players. i feel this is because he needs confidence and someone to guide him and he doesnt have that.
but hes doing well in league 2 so leave him there.
