At the bottom of the Oatway news on the official site:

Meanwhile Albion striker Jake Robinson is to join Conference side Aldershot for a month's loan.

Hopefully he will score a hatfull and get into the full sqaud more often.

Still Somewhere in Sussex!
Will he be allowed to play in the Sussex Senior Cup then :dunce:

Our best chance of silverware this year, and one of our bestest players is going to another team

Yes, if he scores a hatfull for Aldershot, there will be some scouts sniffing around!

Good luck Jakey - "Brighton Loves U More Than U Know!"

Good move for Jakey, get him playing some more competetive footy with a view to getting more involved with us next year!

We should loan out more players. Jarrett, Molango, El Abd etc.

Jarrett was meant to go to Crawley but wanted them to either send someone to drive him round or pay for a taxi to take him to training and home again etc because he cannot drive.

Crawley thought that was unreasonable.

I think McGhee should establish a working relatioship with a club where players like Jakey, May, El Abd et al can go out on loan & get regular competitive games.

I've no idea where Jarrett lives, but on the assumption it's in the Brighton area then IMO he was being unreasonable. Him and Molango are players that NEED to be loaned to get some games at competitive level. Is it too much to expect young Jarrett to catch a train like 1000's do every day? I'm sure Crawley would have forked out his cab fare from Three Bridges station. I dunno..tch....Kids of today!

Think this will do him good. MM is always saying that he needs to builh himself up. This will give him the chance to play 1st team football in front of a few fans, at was is a big time in Crawley's history.

If he goes there and plays a blinder, he will come back and be able to say to MM i deserve a chance. However if he comes back having had a nightmare then we will know that he cannot cut it at the top.

Who are you talking about wardywonderland?

Jake is going to Aldershot, not Crawley.

He could actually score the goals that stop Crawley getting into the league.
