After torrential rain last night, the site was remarkably dry apart from a lake behind the West Stand, where air conditioning units can be seen at the back of the top tier.
North Stand is having its corrugated flooring put in and chalk is being moulded at the front to accomodate the concrete before the terracing is cast.
South stand roof strut extensions being installed.
The World Cup starts today. It will be interesting to see the stadia there and compare them with ours?

It really is coming together quite nicely, isn't it? Still can't quite get my head round how far away the west stand arch is from the stand, mind! I'm sure it'll all make sense once the roof goes up.

I think there is absolutely no doubt that I will shed a tear when the stadium is finally finished and I see Brighton run out onto the pitch. Staggering and still unbelieveable.
