I would think that we are being ultra cautious with Jack. At 18 and a great potential future ahead of him we need to do everything we can to make sure we treat this injury correctly.
Pat Cummins had a string of stress fractures that kept him out of the Aussie team for a while. Eventually had surgery to strengthen the area and has been a relatively injury free performer ever since..Stress fractures seem quite common among young fast bowlers in cricket so I assume it’s par for the course for younger stars and he’ll grow out of it, a real shame though as he’s been excellent IMHO
Taking the chance to upgrade:Oof. Surgery isn't normally the treatment for a stress fracture. Usually you just rest it until it heals. Must be a pretty bad one.
Thought Roberto has said several times he’s out for the season ?Any news on his return? Thought he was one of our best until he got injured
Ok thought the initial word was maybe coming back at the end of it. Roberto can be a bit "no sorry the player is dead" when he is moody so you never really can tell.Thought Roberto has said several times he’s out for the season ?
This . Bumped into him inEast stand lift after Forest game , admitted he may have played a few games without having realised he had done it .We have been overplaying our younger players this season.
Hinchelwood & Buonanotte in particular have played more than would be ideal.
Ain’t that the truth, moody Latins eh?Ok thought the initial word was maybe coming back at the end of it. Roberto can be a bit "no sorry the player is dead" when he is moody so you never really can tell.
Totally unable to make that judgement without understanding cumulative load. Game minutes are a relatively small % of total activity. This . Bumped into him inEast stand lift after Forest game , admitted he may have played a few games without having realised he had done it .
I don't doubt it, Sussex lads are not like those Latinos, who would still be rolling about on the pitch, while they get their agents to line up their next big move. God bless all Sussex lads that wear the stripes. This . Bumped into him inEast stand lift after Forest game , admitted he may have played a few games without having realised he had done it .
No they'd be all wrapped up in their snuggy wuggy ickle snoods, because it's a teeny weeny bit chilly willy.I don't doubt it, Sussex lads are not like those Latinos, who would still be rolling about on the pitch, while they get their agents to line up their next big move.
