After a day doing the longest, hardest interviews of my life I have got myself a new job teaching Sociology and Business Studies at The Ashcombe School in Dorking.

Unfortunately it will probably mean leaving beautiful Hove but at least I will still be able to get to Withdean every other saturday

:) :) :)

Thanks to everyone who wished me luck over the last few days, you have been a really good set of mates and very supportive, you know who you are xx

Well done Wilko.

I'm occasionally seen lurking in the Kings Arms in West Street. So if you ever overhear someone boring a load of other people about all things Albion it may well be me!!

Is it an all boys school ????????????

If memory serves Trashcombe used to be the girls school in Dorking, although ex-Sondes pupils like myself argue that it still is!!

(certainly the better looking women went there when I was a schoolboy)

Newbury, Berkshire.
If you think the interview was exhausting just wait till you've done a whole week of classes !

I tried doing a schools presentation for a day as part of work, after a morning & afternoon of unruly, screaming 13 & 14 year old kids I swore I'd never ever volunteer again !

I would offer my congratulations, but instead, you have my deepest sympathy !

Well done but why the need to leave Hove ??

The travel itself takes over an hour and a half (changing at Redhill or Gatwick) The real problem though is the expense:

Brighton to Dorking return = £20.40
