The Apple free giveaway app is available again. Starts from Boxing Day, but if you download the app today, or already have, there's a usually paid app for free called SoundHound (seems to be a better version of Shazaam).

In previous years there has been a good mixture of free films, TV, apps and music, not all of it good, but it's free so you shouldn't be ungrateful and you don't have to download it.

Always worth a look, but the best I got in previous years was a reasonable golf game & an unfunny vampire film.

Last years was a big dissapointment. Google had it right recently with their 10 days of 10 apps for 10p each. There was some great bargains to be had in there. Lets hope Apple have taken notice this year
