I admire the delusion the playing staff appear to have over their current performances, and envy those who listen on the radio every week who probably think we are playing like Brazil but being torn apart by the strings and arrows of outrageous misfortune.
Unfortunately those of us gullible enough to go to games know the painful truth. I think i might get quite drunk tonight.
Felt sorry for the lad. He's obviously GOT to remain positive in interviews even though he knows damn well (like the rest of us) that we're down. If McGhee comes out clutching at the "wind" straw then its not surprising the young players do so as well. Anything to defelct from the harsh reality that the team simply isn't good enough.
I'm glad I spent the afternoon at Goodwood then, the smell of petrol currently has more appeal than the smell of defeat and relegation....but I do seem to have caught the sun AND the wind...
