I've never really been that susceptible to colds etc but this week i have had a beast of a bug that has really knocked me off of my feet. I've was in bed for 2 days on Monday and Tuesday but went back into work on Wednesday and have struggled through the rest of the week. Whilst I have been feeling shite it really has not helped to have every flaming female in the vicinity laughing and saying that it's manflu in a derogatory manner. This is the first time i've taken time off work sick in years. WTF are we supposed to do to make women believe that we are genuinely ill - die?

rant over.

Giving birth doesn't half hurt. She nearly bit my thumb off, that's bloody painful I can tell you.

No worse than being kicked in the balls though is it?

I've never met a man who, after being kicked in the balls, has said "oh, I'd like 2 or 3 of them". Plenty of women want to give birth again. Can't be that bad.

(note to women: I jest).

Talking about being kicked in the balls. Back in the early 60's, two members of my class and rugby team were kicked in the balls during games and both had one removed. What are the chances of that?

I've never understood this 'man flu' thing. My ex called it man-flu when I had a cold (not that I was off work at all), this from a lass that cried because her feet hurt from walking around and once cried because she was 'tired'! Jeez.
