Just watched the Doncaster Rovers video from April '97, Albion's last game at the Goldstone. Can't believe it's been so long.

Still, when SS scores, wow, what a roar!

Marvellous, if sad, scenes.

It's remarkable how we far we've come since then considering what might have been if we'd have left the football league. We are lucky to have a club. Stop talking turd

Way out west
I look back at the last 8 years, time has certainly flown, I was living in Canada at the time so my last game at the Goldstone was at the beginning of the last season, since then I have lived in Scotland and the Netherlands, now finding myself back in blighty. It is amazing to think what has happened in the time since we left the Goldstone, two seasons exiled in Kent, followed by a new dawn and our return to Brighton, since then we have lived in a state of almost suspended animation waiting for a new stadium. On the pitch it has been a rollercoaster of emotions, success living happily with underachievement (I never use the word failure when referring to the Albion).

Would I swap it for anything, bollocks would I, I am proud to support the Albion, I cannot imagine ever having followed anyone else, at least life is never boring. We have had a day out at Cardiff, the memory of which will live with me till my dying day, even if we went on to win the Champions league the sight of Leons' penalty hitting the back of the net is unlikely to be eclipsed.

Brighton till I die...

Exactly, yeah we've had some great times recently but what we really want is a new stadium, we're a f***ing laughing stock. How many other teams in this division do you see playing in a poxy school sports day ground. We're the only homeless club in the league :censored:
