look west and just generally look out for a bright star thats moving across the sky, dont know the exact location but it will be in the sky somewhere

Excuse me ignorance, but apart from providing a bit of nocturnal entertainmemt everytime in flies over, what the f*** does the ISS actually DO??

I'm assuming this thing has a budget of several billion dollars per year to keep it up there. I hope its getting some great satellite shots of some of our fellow human beings staring to death, as it flies on overhead.

Sorry, but that is how I feel about it.

The money spent on the space shuttle and space station is less than Americans spend on ice cream. Perhaps they should all give up ice cream, become slimmer and donate that to the starving people.
I quite like space and the universe type things.
