Saturday August 6th 2011 is finally here. The day which many Brighton supporters have been waiting for....A day which culminates all the years of suffering and pain cause by previous owners....

My time in England showed to me the desire and passion of football fans and you Brighton supporters are the shining example. Determined and loyal to the club you love is an example the rest of the world can follow.

Enjoy the day that is for your club win, loose or draw you all should be proud to be where you finally are. My dear friend Evan was bent on being there for the first match tomorrow and of course he can not make it. If I could afford I would be there as well but unlucky for me not going to happen just yet.

Lucky for me I will be off work to watch the match and I will be just as enthusiastic as you all. Be proud, be loud, be the Albion, Brighton & Hove Albion.

Cheers Steve. It feels gratifying to see this match right now. Ive not been a brighton supporter for years but I know the struggle and this day brings it all together for the club. Simply amazing.
