HUNT SUPPORTERS STRIP

Hunt supporters have stripped off and dived into the freezing cold sea at Brighton ahead of Tony Blair's Labour Party conference speech.

A group of girls called Naked Prejudice shed their clothes - and then their bras - and waded into the waters opposite the conference centre.

The group were dressed as bunny girls had led the hunt.

Victoria Collins, a huntsman's daughter, emerged from the water shielding herself behind a banner.

She said: "It was freezing cold but we went into the water naked because we wanted to show the Government that we're prepared to do anything to save our hunting."

Thousands of pro-hunt demonstrators are staging a noisy protest outside the venue.

They are being monitored by hundreds of riot police who are protecting the venue.

The demonstration, organised by the Countryside Alliance, came as three horse carcasses were dumped near the conference site.

Two of the carcasses were left a few hundreds yards from the venue - with a third one dumped at the railway station in the centre of town.

The bodies of a horse and two calves were dumped

Police placed tarpaulin over the rotting carcasses and bystanders shielded their faces from the smell of rotting flesh.

Two men have been arrested.

Protest leaders are urging their members not to allow a repeat of the scenes outside the House of Commons earlier this month in which demonstrators clashed with police.

The Alliance's "working dogs and working people" march against the Government's foxhunting Bill is expected to attract between 6,000-15,000 people.

Captain Ian Farquhar, joint master of the Gloucestershire's Beaufort Hunt, said: "This is yet another demonstration to highlight the utter stupidity and farce of this Bill.

"There is still a tangible feeling of anger amongst hunting people and the anger is growing.

"But we want the demonstration today to be peaceful. We are not in the game to go fighting."

Why would you want them to drown or freeze to death. A bit hypocritical I think. Or aren't they "foxy " enough for you?
