I must voice my opinion on the England Vs Turkey Game a match of such great importnace is only on Sky!!!

how can this be right??!! f***ing FA ,money grabbing bastards!!
f*** the new wembley, build it in Birmingham where it will cost a third of the price!!

ALL england games should be free to view for all,

the government should have included this in their last peice of legislation, which only covers Euro & World cup FINALS to be shown on Testicle TV.

LETS STORM Soho!!!! whos with me?? the F.A headquarters that is, not the Sex Shops, Altough we could take a De-tour
en-route!

I couldn't give a stuff for two reasons:-

1) I have sky sports so would watch it on there anyway
2) I'll be down the pub watching it in a social environment and the pub sure as hell has sky too.

It is really f***ing stupid. Just imagine how packed the pubs in brighton are gonna be when most people cant watch it at home, and my old mum and dad who wont want to go to a boozer, havent got sky but will really want to watch it. DISGRACE.

The government have requested that it is shown on testicle tv though i think, so hopefully it might be?

not true, the Trukey home game was only on sky and so were a few others, seems the BBC bought all the shit games!

Tinx, a rather selfish comment from you regarding the game, put yourself in johnnyboylennons folks shoes, i know alot of older people who dont have sky and dont go to the pub!

Because in reality the BBC cannot match Sky for money for this game.

It'll be on BBC anyway i reckon, the Govt will do something so hardly any fans bother going (won't make any difference, there's gonna be 3000 Chelsea fans there all week anyway).

That is true but it smacks of an after-thought. Most of the people that are travelling will have made their arrangements months ago. Not saying the match being on BBC would have stopped them going but it does seem like the Government have just gone "oh hang on, suppose we better make it look like we're taking an interest".

I also think it's wrong that it's only on Sky.

Isn't it the Turkish FA who have hold the TV rights for this match and therefore have sold the match to rip-off Sky

Not the fault of the FA this one.

The rights to this game are solely at the whim of the Turkish FA as it's their home match.

Sky paid out the dosh, so they get the rights.

Yep a selfish comment but true none the less. And not all pubs are packed showing the fooball and old people can watch it down the legion or in the bingo halls anyway

I thoght all England Euro qualifiers were supposed to be on terrestrial TV. All of them have been so far. Don't try to tell me the BBC signed up to them all except the last game? Why the f*** do we pay licence fees????

the national game and all sports with national representation should be available to all of the nation.

especially the welsh and scottish so they get a chance to see a home nation victory once in a while :lolol:
