Don't get me wrong, but I really hope we beat Boro, however, I just have a feeling.
My record in the big games since I've been of working age is as follows:
1979 Newcastle Away, promotion game. AT SEA
1983 Cup Final, AT SEA
1991 Play Off Final, AT SEA
2004 Play Off Final, AT SEA
All promotion deciders since, AT SEA.
This year, IF it's a Wembley Play Off Final, I'll be home as the Mrs is due to drop (give birth, pardon the expression) on May 22.
Been thinking for a few months now, it could be a hell of a year, just a feeling I have. Maybe after all these years, (1st game 1970) I'm due a big day out at Wembley. Biggest game I've made it to was the 83 SF.
Having said all of that, I'll be cheering on from Barcelona on Saturday & hope we do it.
