The worst thing Cyprus did in recent years was accept the Euro as currency. It has got very expensive there as a result. In 1995 we had agreed to purchase the lease of a bar with a 3 bedroomed flat above for Cy£25k with a rent of Cy £500 pa. Times have changed now.
