For what its worth, I thought they were WELL out of order with that hosepipe and lubricant. I did try and stop them.

One of the funniest things I saw was in the early nineties when the Albion played Liverpool at Anfield in the FA Cup (the 2-2 draw).

I went up with three blokes from work, 2 of which were Albion fans and the other a 'die hard born and bred scouser' (born in Worthing actually).

On the way up in the car he kept going on about how amazing the ground was and how the atmosphere would blow us away.
He would apparently travel from Worthing regularly to watch his team.

When we arrived he headed off to the Kop and myself and the others went to walk around the ground before going to the away end.

Twenty mins later we saw this guy asking a Steward at the Brighton end 'how to get to the Kop'.

Needless to say when we all met back at the car after the game some chronic piss taking took place for the next five hours.
