My mate once played in a game at a local pub where you had to predict 3 celebrities that would die in the following year. There was a points system - predicting the queen mother to die wasn't worth many points, but someone younger would get more points if the popped their cloggs.

He chose Paula Yates - a few months later, loads of points.

This game was aired in the Dirty Harry film 'The Dead Pool', where lucrative sweepstakes would be run on a pool of celebs to see who would be first to snuff it. It was on the other night.

A bit tasteless, but harmless enough (to those playing).

Played an alternative sweepstake at work with my mates about how many horses/jockeys would die in the grand national! I said none  and won £3!:lolol:

Frank Skinner used to do a routine about a similar thing in his local. His mate had Arthur Askey and when he (Askey) had his legs amputated his mate tried to collect half the money!!!:lolol: :lolol:

Jees, get this from that Deathlist website by 'Arnold' :

"In case this chap has slipped through your net, Emlyn Hughes, former Liverpool and England soccer captain from the 70s has brain cancer, which is almost always fatal. A good bet for next year I reckon. WDYT? "

That was posted on 23/11/03

"More moans from me I'm afraid. But dear old Emlyn Hughes really should have been on the list, may I suggest. As I pointed out during the year, he has brain cancer. The survival rate over an 18 month period (which would take us to the end of 2004) is just 42 per cent. So there is almost a 60 per cent certainly that the ex-England soccer captain will be kicking off, so to speak. I think he has the potential to embarrass us with a rather rapid demise."

That one was posted last January...
There are some creepy, sick people around !

Wow this thread looks like my favourites list.:clap2:

2 of the worst are bmeworld and Goretheartre if they are still going. I used to be a moderator at the Torture.network but I'm not providing links to it successor as you dorks are not welcome there.

Politically it has to be www.stormfront.org and www.armyofgod.com , the latter abortionist bombers that has some pretty gruesome abortion pictures. The former nazi's.

My mate used to have a death pool on his window cleaning round.
He has a few chaps working for him and they put a pound a week in.
He has a lot of elderly people and it is so hard to choose.
