Saw them a couple of weeks ago at Imola - they were absolutely upstaged by PJ Harvey and the Pixies. Robert Smith is far too old to be groaning on in f***ing shite makeup. Absolute *****. Incidentally Ben Harper was at the same gig and he was shit. Along with his 'Innocent Criminals'. I missed Starsailor, but I am quite happy to presume that they were f***ing shit as well.

Love The Cure as a singles band. But like most singles bands they shouldn't be allowed to make albums, for they are ivariably dreck of the highest ordure. Well, apart from greatest Hits albums maybe.
