Gus has said in the past that it is under control. That's all we know.
Think it was said at the time that if Vicente made 20 appearances it would trigger the second year

Don't get me wrong, I definitely want Vicente for next season, but it would be interesting to surmise what we would get for Vicente if we allowed the 2nd year option to lapse?

Erm, nowt!
If we allowed the 2nd year option to LAPSE, then we haven't taken the option of extending his contract beyond this season, and so he is available on a Bosman.
If you meant, we'd take up the option of the 2nd year, with a view to cashing in on selling him, I very much doubt we'd do that, and you would probably find that teh market for players once they reach 30, with injury problems on their chart already, isn't all that great.
