can't see that they are on sale on merseyside yet so surely not going at a premium yet - they expect the full away end allocation of c2500 to be made available according to their ticket line and I am sure they will sell out

Wednesday 21st September. 7.45pm. Amex Stadium.

Albion season ticket holders have until 6pm on Monday 12th September to secure a ticket for the Carling Cup tie with Liverpool at the Amex.

Tickets are available to season ticket holders online only from 6pm on Wednesday 31st August.

Tickets will be available via the ticketline on 0844 327 1901, or in person at the ticket offices at the Amex and in Queens Road from 9am on Monday 5th September.

Any unsold tickets will then go on sale online to supporters with 60 loyalty points or more from 7pm on that day, and subsequently by phone on 0844 327 1901 and in person at the Amex and Queens Road from 9am on Tuesday 13th September.

Any unsold tickets will then go on general sale to any supporter on the ticket database with a purchase history from 9am on Wednesday 14th September.

It's a mistake, it's next Monday at 7pm for the 60 points and over, then Wednesday for the leftovers with any purchasing history. Which leaves me a dilemma; either get my ticket next week alone as I have 70 points, or wait so I can get my mate his who has only 50 points as missed the Sunderland game and risk losing my ticket to a game I am as excited about as Noone and Navarro.

I also wasted 30 mins trying to get a ticket cos I thought today was the day non STHs could apply. They really need to make the website clearer.

Get your mate to buy a ticket to Bristol or Leicester and gain the extra 10 points needed to buy on Monday.

Well I popped into the Queens Rd. Shop this morning to pick my ticket up - & the queue was almost out the door! Stirling work by Rowan & Simon at the counter though as I only waited about (ahem) 10 mins or so. Same sized queue as I happily conga'd out with Liverpool tkt in hand too. My, how things have changed at this club! Amazing stuff.

I've had this discussion in a couple of other threads.

If you went to the main page when news was released, you'd've got this article:
Albion's Carling Cup third round tie against Premier League high-flyers Liverpool has been confirmed for Wednesday 21st September, kick-off 7.45pm, and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Season ticket holders have until 6pm on Monday 12th September to secure their seat for the glamour tie - and season ticket holders can buy their seat online now using the 'add my reserved seat' function.

Season ticket holders will also be able to purchase by phone on 0844 327 1901 and in person at the Amex and Queens Road store from 9am on Monday 5th September.

Once purchased, the match ticket will automatically be uploaded to season ticket holders' smartcards, while for 1901 Club members the match will automatically be uploaded to their smartcards.

Any remaining tickets will go on sale to any supporters with 60 loyalty points or more from 7pm on Monday 12th September.

Tickets will be available initially online from 7pm on Monday 12th September, and subsequently by phone on 0844 327 1901 and in person at the Amex and Queens Road from 9am on Tuesday 13th September.

Any unsold tickets will then go on general sale to any supporter on the ticket database with a purchase history from 9am on Wednesday 14th September.

Which clearly states:

Tickets on sale to STH that night online only.
Tickets on sale to STH in person or by phone from 9am Monday 5th
Tickets on sale to 60+points from 7pm online Monday 12th
Tickets on sale to 60+points from 9am in person or by phone Tuesday 13th
Any unsold tickets will go to previous purchases on the database from 9am Wednesday 14th

However, if you go to the coming up bit of the ticket section you get this article:

The article starts mentioning the 12th as the deadline for STH. Then in the fourth paragraph says "on that day". The confusion comes from the third paragraph mentioning the 5th. Convention suggests 'on that day' refers to the last mentioned day. I think the article means "on that day we mentioned at the start of the article". I don't believe they would put 18,000 tickets on sale and only give people 8 hours on the monday to buy them, so think the first article is right.
