Ive seen plenty of goalies take throw-ins before, not sure about the cup final though.

I'm wondering that final stat too myself!

i remember when nicky rust took a throw in for the albion at the goldstone against blackpool i think when we were losing, but the ref called it back and made an oufield player take it.

Must be seeing as the how the annoying bloke on ITV was going on about Boatangs penalty being only the 3rd missed in the cup final.
Is it the first time the tele have missed/talked over the start of Abide with Me? Should be hung for that
