i liked the way that poyet, in his interview, basically said that sandaza is f***ing rubbish at everything, BUT he'll be in the right place at the right time

sometimes you need that kind of player

Agreed and sometimes it needs to be told as it is without any cushioning. There are some players who aren't brilliant but can get themselves into the right place at the right time. Let's hope that time proves us right and he nets a few more.

He looks like a good finisher, and given the chances that have gone begging that is EXACTLY what we need.

However that's to take nothing away from Barnes who had a good game and I thought Murray won a hell of a lot in the air yesterday - some lovely flick ons.

The fact he won nothing in the air does not make him a poor player, even more so because im sure the Dundee fans on here stated that he likes the ball in to feet.

Sandanza was seriously mishandled by Dundee United. He had a double hernia and they rushed him back and he was unfit for the remainder of last season. All the Dundee United fans I know say he was their best player by a country mile (season 2008-9). So he is now working on his fitness and playing with a team that have people that understand him.
I reckon 10-15 goals for him this season
I reckon 10-15 goals for Ashley Barnes this season
I reckon 10-15 goals for Glen Murray this season

I reckon we will win Div 1 this season.
