Didn’t appear to celebrate the second goal much, disappeared down the tunnel quite quickly at the final whistle?

Pervis has given good service and deserves a cash cow contract at a crap but big club like Man United, where expectations are probably at an all time low.

I wouldn't mind betting we already have an upgrade lined up. :lolol:

If that all works out, he'd get an enthusiastic clap from me if he returned as a Man Utd player. Especially if he left huge gaps behind him as he has done for us from time to time.

Yes, three seasons in on his contract. We have Ferdi as a replacement and Boscagli can also play left back. Think we paid c £17m for him so if we could get £30m or so then you could see this happening.
However, didn’t United pay a lot for Dorgu who is a LWB?

Given the financial mess that Man U are in under Inios I can’t see this being a goer - they surely have more pressing problems especially if Fernandes takes the.Saudi gold he’s being offered
Boscagli “can play left back” doesn’t mean he’s a Premier-League-ready replacement except in emergency

Someone has claimed he is on Manchester United's 'radar'. For the purpose of clarity. the vast majority of these claims are utter tosh

Just corrected it for you.

I wouldn’t be as gutted if he left as I would have been 18 months ago, if I’m honest

Agreed. He's not been the same player consistently for about 18 months now.

If United want to offer us a hefty sum, then absolutely take it.

Pervis has a lot of great attributes, but closing down attackers on his left is not one of them. £40m (my val'n to Man U) and I'd move him on and bring on the next one. We already have Ferdi and Igor, Tariq and Solly can play there although T may leave, and I've no doubt we have a plan that leaves plenty in the transfer kitty after bringing in an upgrade on Pervis.

Since when has their financial mess stopped them splashing the cash on a player they want?

His first season with us, he was a solid 7/10 every single week. No wonder other clubs were looking on him as one of the best LBs in the PL.

Sadly injury and whatever else has caught up with him, and no matter how much I find myself hoping he'll regain those levels, he never has for me, other than showing sporadic glimpses in the odd game. Probably doesn't help that he hasn't had Mitoma so much in the last season & a half, who tracks back and works his arse off whereas Adingra (and Minteh at first, though he's improved massively) doesn't offer the same support.

This. He's just not the same player these days, unfortunately.

I don't know if it's just a lack of pace and fitness that has gone since his injury, or whether there's also other things going on.

That totally bizarre shooting decision against Liverpool in the dying minutes of the game seemed to sum it all up. Some of his decision making these days seems really odd at times.
