Is Knight going for maximum impact

I'm wondering whether Knight will hold out on the annoucement until late tomorrow in a bid to create a big impact for Saturday's must win game. If there is an announcement late on he knows that if it's pay on the day those who weren't going will turn up and everyone will be on a high Saturday spurring the boys on to get 3 points.
