Is it time to give Molango a chance?

Abort, retry, fail
DW reported that he is doing everything asked of him in training. I think we should now keep him at the club for the duration of his contract and keep playing him in the reserves. There is a good footballer in there, he needs to learn a few tricks though....

(First touch/Offside trap)

We have nothing to lose, have we???

We would have to pay him off, if we wanted rid of him and I doubt he would take anything less assuming he hasn't got another job (as a footballer!) lined up.

They've just opened a new Subway restaurant up here and they're advertising for staff ..... he could do a job

Would not get anywhere near to making the first team on his last showing for the reserves. If Wrexham don't want him why should we play him in the first team?

Get him in, clearly he wont be pushing for the first XI but could get a place on the bench in the place of Gatting, who IMO should've gone out on loan instead of Molango.

If his name David Lee, he would've been hounded out by now. He is like a headless chicken. People seem to be blinded by a foreign name and a bit of alliteration

EXACTLY. Why should he be anywhere near our first team? He's done precisely bugger all everywhere we've sent him.

Well, he gave us all a laugh:lolol:, we enjoyed watching him swing at fresh air and launch the ball into long-forgotten bits of the Racecourse.

But at footie, he is quite clearly SHITEHOUSE!

You're a cold man.

How can you not feel the love for these sort of players? They swan in with exotic names, complete unknowns, the football equivalent of a colourful lucky dip. There's even uncertainty over what nationality Molango is. Having flashed a bit of leg with that goal against Reading, we've spent a couple of years with no idea what else he's capable of. When he disappears into obscurity we'll still be able to wonder what might have been, like a holiday shag. Google will probably unearth him playing for a team with multiple vowels in their name or working in a bakery in a couple of years time, and we'll all be able to convince ourselves that we, too, could do the same thing if we happened to catch the eye of a coach like McGhee while on our travels.

It's deeply cool. I want more Turis and Mahetas and Gisbert Bos's.
