Is it actually loanees we need?

Whenever anything bad happens the knee-jerk reaction is ' get some loans in' but judging on the current loans i'm not hugely impressed: Thornton and Anyisnah have shown glimpses of quality but aren't here that long now, Savage in my opinion is shocking and does nothing that Fraser couldn't do and Richards I'm not a huge fan of - i'd rather have put Lynch there.

I suppose many of you will say ' that's not what you were thinking after Man City' - yes richards and anyinsah had good games but I hjaven't been imrpessed hugely by eitehr overall.

There definitly worth having but sometimes the problem is deeper then ' get a loan in' - clearly the quality loans arent necessarily readily available at the momet to Brighton for whatever problem. We need another striker, permnantly but a loan would do for now.

But i'd say that what we really is it to be trained in how to attack and not merely how to cross! We have a mental block about shooting directly!

A lot of work needs to be done with the current squad - get some loans in perhaps but we can't think this is the solution.

loans are ok when they are here for a reasonable amount of time, at least half a season. Getting players in for one month here one month there and expecting the team to improve is never going to work.

With 3 (+ Thornton) of the starting 11 being loanees, it makes you wonder where we would be in the table without them!

When Savage, Thornton and Anyinsah go back, we're going to be in deep, deep trouble.

Don't agree we would be in trouble without the loanees. Savage contributes very little, Anyinsah puts himself about but can't finish and we have our own wingers, and have not seen enough of Thornton to decide. Richards we need now Lynch is at Forest and Mayo is injured and not good enough anyway.

I think the players we have at the club would not have done any worse then the ones we have bought in, and if you are only going to loan players for a month then it is a pointless excercise.

I would like to see us line up at Peterborough

Kuipers

Whing,Elphick, Virgo, Richards

Cox, Al-Abd, Livermore, Thomson, Anyinsay

Murray

The rumours that we are paying £4000 to Mr Savage just make me wonder what we are playing at.

When savage goes back i will be happy. The team should be the team; they should gell together and not have any old person coming to the club and swanning onto the first team...
