Looks like the Echo is as well-subbed as the Argus then
That's a quote of what someone on twitter asked him (Brighton fan I think).

Maybe his wages can't exceed what Barnes was on? Because of FFP implications? Ince signing a new contract (has to include an increase?) has affect our wage budget too?

How do we negotiate? Keen to get the benefit of your knowledge on this one

Lets just say I know more than you. We never seem to appreciate the worth of our strikers aka Murray and Barnes and potential signings ... hopefully this will not cost us a play-off spot. And I'm talking pittance money here as well

Rather than Obika & Grabban which equates to two wages, for two players who are ok, why not use both wages to get just 1 player in who is smoking hot?

why do we need another striker when we only play one up front?

What do you propose we do when Ulloa gets injured then ? Only option is Obika. Besides, Grabban might not JUST be a striker.

Rather than Obika & Grabban which equates to two wages, for two players who are ok, why not use both wages to get just 1 player in who is smoking hot?

Because then you have the same problem as above.
