So around 7K ticket will be available for non STH. I'm just weighing up my option for the first game, what will be my chances of getting a ticket? And if I can only get to 3-4 home games will it be worth me buying a season ticket? Don't expect anyone to make the decision for me, just wondering whether many others have a similar dilemma to guarantee that seat at the first game?

My Son and I received our ‘gift boxes’ 30/12/10, and yesterday received the new updated direct debit forms, together with the ‘thank you for booking to visit the Amex and purchase your season tickets’ letters. The letter was dated 3 January 2011, was posted 10 February 2011 and was received 11 February 2011. The letters were received 2 days after we had attended the Amex. Fortunately we had already purchased our season tickets 3 weeks ago as part of a +3 with family members who have held season tickets for longer than us.

I still think that season ticket holders should have been treated a little more fairly than the +3’s, and whilst appreciating that the club is busy getting ready for Falmer, the whole process seems a little Heath Robinson and arse, elbow with its organisation, record keeping, and communications.

Agree entirely and think it was a slap in the face for STH the +3 friends business but happy with what I got.

very much the same position and I have to admit that I will be taking my chances for that first game and hoping to be able to buy a ticket, but if not....................tough luck. I will travel down for the first ramp-up event because I really don't think that is going to sell out with people away on holiday etc. Beyond that, as another poster said, it will be down to how easy (or not) it is to get a late ticket as I often don't know until just before a match whether I can make it or not.

tbh I just hope the club sell every ticket they possibly can - for sure all the early worriers about would they get a season ticket where they wanted one seem to have been proven wrong

If they sell the 15k then only 5k available on the day unless you buy your ticket through the away team!

As for sales, if they were ahead or even on schedule then surely they would release the figures so that might encourage anyone dithering to commit. Also, whilst there are 20 days left someone has assumed that each session will be full and that none of the people at these presentations haven't already got their ticket sorted so they are sitting with friends etc. Can you also advise whether the remaining 20 days are in respect of the STHs of 10 years or all season ticket holders?

I can confirm, the club have sold ALL 2500 1901 Club seats, however, I was asked not to say how many Season Tickets have been sold, suffice to say, the club are 100% confident that they will SELL OUT the season tickets. It is most certainly going to plan, with over double the amount of season tickets than at Withdean sold already, and that is before they have got through all the current season ticket holders.

Is that including 1901?

They are planning on keeping back 1000 seats for general ticket sales on a match by match basis. (It will be more if they don't sell all season tickets, but they currently expect to). I imagine the first few games, and the bigger games will be harder to get tickets for, but I think you might be able to get individual tickets for 3-4 games if you're quick enough when they go on sale.

Thanks for that, so they are actually expecting attendances of 18K ish? Fantastic, really am getting excited now!

....and speaking to a few Forest, Leicester and Derby fans the away end will be a sell out, everyone wants to see our new Amex! (when we get promoted).

15K season tickets + 1K sold match by match + 2.5K away fans = 18.5k. What's happening to the remaining 4k?

The maximum number of season tickets that can be sold is surely 18,125. There are 2,500 in the away end but they need to cater for cup allocations of 15% which would be 3,375 (they would also need a buffer zone between fans in the east stand so a few more seats can't be sold.

Don't get me wrong.AT the moment we are top of the league & we attract 7000 home fans to withdean.
If we were bottom of the league we would still attract at least 5000 to withdean.
So that means we have a hard core support of between 5000-7000 depending on league position.
The anti withdean brigade ????? Who knows

We are moving into a stadium that is 3 x our current average attendance, are we kidding ourselves that we can fill this stadium or is this the start of something new

I can't believe anyone thinks we can't sell out our season tickets for Falmer! To compare the numbers we have at Withdean to what we will get at Falmer is a nonsense. I've supported the Albion for 35 years and I think we will piss it! I'll stick my neck out further and say there will be alot of disappointed people who can't get them and that the club will be forced to extent after the first season. My honest prediction with my head not my heart is that we will flirt with the prem within 3 years.....Wait to see if I'll have egg on my face but I truly believe it. Come on you Super Seagulls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The south end of the east stand is reserved for club officials/workers and their family and friends to buy season tickets. If an away team want their 15% for cup games, these sth will be moved to the northern end of west stand lower, which, I believe, is where the walk up tickets are reserved for. That is, if season ticket holders buy cup tickets, there won't be as many walk up tickets because their seats will be taken by the sth from the south end area of the east stand.

We might be in there with them! Think we need to join their away schemes? If they run coaches, that would be handy too.
