Is Brighton a suburb of SW6?

It comes to something when glory hunting man u fans are out numbered by a team who wouldn't have 1/4 of the fans had they not just spent £111million!Roman Ashamatbridge should be circumcised for bringing even more glory hunters into this world!:censored:

What annoys me about Pompey fans is that they seem to reckon that their club is big throughout the whole of South England. I have never seen a Pompey shirt in anywhere bar Pompey, Southampton (!), and down towards where you live into West Sussex. Even in Guildford, which is on the road up from there to London, I've never seen one. They are a small club doing well. I hope that if we get to the Prem then we'll have the same appeal. All three of our clubs have commuter towns for our place (we've got Basingstoke, Newbury, Wallingford, Didcot, Bracknell etc), which are full of Reading fans nowadays. During the time when we're not successful, the wandering fans from these places will end up supporting London clubs. They're the most difficult ones to keep.

Now don't ever tell me that our place is full of Chelsea fans again! :p I have seen the same in Oxford, Southampton, Portsmouth, and now you mention Brighton having loads of 'em.

BTW - do you ever hear people refer to you as part of London anyway? Probably not so much for you because you're on the coast, but we get generally fecked off with being referred to as part of London

When a club becomes famous all the Glory hunters come out of the woodwork and as from the previous comment i can see it is happening with Chelski F.C!

London by the Sea, what a fcking insult, i for one can't stand London it's a hovel full of the dregs and scum of society and a few people with money who think it's cool to live among the pollution in their sanitised flash million pound appartments, pity it's spreading down here a swell.

Skint records is probably the coolest sponsor of any football club in the country. Its a trendy dance label with some quality artists, I used to wear a skint t-shirt before we were even sponsored by skint cause it was a cool shirt. Anyone who thinks its crap obviously has no idea who skint actually are.

Would people rather still have a crap donatellos logo on the front of their shirts.

I'll be gutted if skint stop sponsoring us.

I agree entirely, Skint is a good sponsor, better than Doritos or any other crap like that:clap:

At the foot of the downs
I was amused on Saturday, I went to the Temple Bar to watch the saturday scores and have a few pints with the missis, but was diapointed to see the Chelsea Blackburn game on and the place was filled with Chelsea shirts. But we sat down on the end of a table with a couple of lads watching the game, any way to cut a long story short, one phone call and another mate turned up, upon arrival he asked one of the guys why such interest in Chelsea and the other guy asnwered for him that he now supported Chelsea,

I hate these type of football fans

And the c*nt that cheered (unchallenged) when Palarse went in front, kinda summed up whats happening to our city

Fuscking Chelski used to have a 'superstore' in Guildford but had to close it down last year 'cos nobody wanted their shit products. Now the place is swamped with noveau Chelski fans-I despair at how the premiershite has attracted so many shallow fans who only follow the fashionable:angry: Most of the wankers/wankettes haven't a clue about the game which is even more annoying. :tosser:

Earlybath without wishing to appear rude I think your mates are a little, how can I say this?, 'behind the times'. With SKINT we easily have the hiipest shirt sponsor in the league. They make records that young people listen to.

Get them to take of their purple loons, put away the T Rex and join the 21st century.

I was amazed at the number of Chelsea shirts around Brighton when I visited from Australia recently. Chelsea have a good distribution network of their merchandise along the Sussex South Coast as well, much better than any other club. Which is strange, there were more people wearing Chelsea shirts than Man Ure, Arsenal or Liverpool.

A visitor to Brighton wouldn't even know that BHAFC existed. Apart from the club shop which you would never notice unless you went out of your way to find it, I never saw anything in the city to suggest that Brighton had its own football club. Even my local team Perth Glory is a bigger club than Brighton, sad to say.

That's my point... "real fans" will wear it cos they would wear the blue and white regardless of what commercial it had on it, but the casual punter will not.

The Albion black away shirt last season was a huge seller and was one of the most popular shirts outside of the Premiership. It's cool to wear the name of a fashionable record company like Skint. Some people were unpicking the crest and wearing just the logo so that's why the club has now incorporated the letters "BHAFC" into the shirt.
