There is a classic Keith Moon story where he was so off his face he was collapsing onto his drum kit during a gig. Emergency measures were called for and one of the entourage slid onto the stage out of view of the crowd and injected him in the ankles with some kind of 'stimulant' and he was instantly revived and did a grand job for the remainder of the show.

Don't agree. I think he was the worst ever Brighton manager. Fortunately we've had more good ones than duffers, but Barry Lloyd, nice guy though he is, was the worst (IMHO!)
