Is anyone else suffering a World Cup hangover

Spun Cuppa

Thanks Greens :(
Its not the failure that angers me its the "i dont give a f*** because im on 100 grand a week mentality"

Despite constant assurances from the players that they do indeed care im of the mindset that talk is cheap im afraid.

Anyone who believes that these high profile players care like they should care are sadly deluded.

Agree with the above ^

Also, why o why is there talk of getting Scholes out of retirement ffs?

Get some youngsters in there, and if we don't qualify, at least they've had a campaign under their belt. Not like the Charlie Larges who turn up, play shit, then swan off in their Bentleys to their mansions, not giving a monkey's about the 30 million fans disappointed yet AGAIN...

Now for some REAL football! A bit of JPT in September

My attitude is: If this side aren't that bothered then why should I be?

I rather watch more limited players who are passionate and committed to the cause then better player who never fail to disappoint and underachieve.

At the end of the day the core of the England side are - for want of a better phrase - a bunch of kvnts.

Thankfully we have a rugby team on the rise and a decent cricket side, plus plenty of decent golfers, so other sports are strong and the football loss is not so strongly felt.

I just can't get any interest in the premier league due to the world cup disaster.
